Moji box

I'm making a 14 steps long (about 8 sun = 24 cm) Japanese puzzle box. This box has a large inside space (about 19 cm = 7.5 in.), so you can put pens or other stationery items inside. It is one of the more popular puzzle boxes. In addition to the usual Yosegi design, I decided to create a character (word) box design for this one. I have made several character boxes in the past. In most cases, they were boxes with only one character. However, since the top panel area of this box is large (long), this time I will make it into a word instead of a single character.
The word I chose is "Thank you." Is it the most popular?😂 Of course, not in English. In Japanese, we say "Arigato," and if you write it in Japanese, it looks like the photo. There are two ways to write "Arigato" in Japanese, but this time I only used Hiragana (red mark). The other way is a style of writing that uses both Kanji and Hiragana. In Japanese, there are three types of characters: Hiragana, Kanji, and Katakana. Writing in only Hiragana gives the impression of being easier to understand, kinder, and more charming...I think😅
Kanji was imported to Japan from China a long time ago, but Hiragana and Katakana are characters that originated in Japan. Currently, Katakana is mainly used to write foreign words in Japanese (there are exceptions). By the way, the characters are called "Moji" in Japanese.
