7 steps natural wood
I'm making the 7 steps 5 sun natural wood type now. this box is a combination of Walnut wood and Agathis wood. the walnut wood is from North America and the agathis wood is from southeast asia. the agathis woos is also used for structural parts of puzzle box. the top and bottom panels are made by pasting sliced walnut wood onto plywood. the 7 steps is one of the puzzle boxes for beginners, this box have one slide key and two slide panels.
When I made my first Japanese puzzle box, I made this 7 steps 5 sun box and At that time it was a puzzle box with a striped design.
If I add one more slide panel and set a drawer at the bottom of the box, it will become a 10 steps Hidden drawer puzzle box. In other words, the 7 steps and 10 steps drawer types are made to the same specification.
